I couldn't be happier with this thing and here's why: I haven't been able to split kindling for a few years because of a bum shoulder, but today I discovered that with the Kindling Splitter I'm able to split SINGLE HANDED all the kindling I'm in the mood for. I can even do it sitting down. This turned out to be a huge surprise gift for me because I never expected that I'd be able to split wood again.

Game changer. THIS THING IS AWESOME. I use a 4lb maul with it. it fits decent sized wood pieces. i love using it. i was on the fence cuz of the price. it works like a charm tho. anyone can do it. dont try it when the wood has a knot tho. other than that heck yea. it makes it easy. and fun. lol. if ur needing to split pieces over 6 inches wide, you will need the bigger size up splitter. they do make one for larger chunks. this one suits my needs tho as i dont need to hand split large chunks of wood. i bet the larger one is awesome tho and as effortless as this one. all in all im a 💯 fan of this product. for the win.
