I used a tooth pick to apply to the scratches and then a paper towel to blend it. Worked like a charm.

   I have done woodworking for years and this is the best product I have ever used to cover damage to wood. My beautiful mahogany front door was damage moving out a built in refrigerator and this product did the job. I used a stainable wood filler to fill the damage and this product over it. I recommend that use some type of clear finish after this product dries to blend in with the rest of the piece.
