My dog loves this toy but he figured it out so fast! I am looking for ways to make it last longer. He doesn't have to do much work because he can just slide the sliders with his nose when he is sniffing. If I add some peanut butter inside it slows him down a little. I tru to give it to him only every few days to keep things interesting.

I have a very active/rescued chihuahua mix. This is the best puzzle so he can do this on his own. At first, I put interesting treats in it - but quickly realized that just regular dog food was enough for him to want to complete his puzzle. It is a really smart dog, and this is exactly what it needs to keep its brain busy. Now my other rescued chihuahua mix - a bit sluggish. At first he may have little interest in this puzzle and or any game. Well worth the money and sanity :)

I purchased a couple of these for my 3 dogs. The younger two had difficulty figuring them out at first, but my sweet old Doxie, who is a treat hog, figured it out right away. Nothing keeps her from her treats! The other dogs observed and followed suit. It was so much fun mixing up where I put the treats and watching them figure out which slot was golden. There are some nibble marks on one of them, so they aren't like Kong strong. Great buy, overall, though.

Our 15 week old Aussie/Heeler LOVES this puzzle. He will carry it around the house hoping that we’ll put treats in it for him. He chews on it, scrapes his claws on it, and throws it around the house and it’s still in one piece! Great starter puzzle—now we just have to find something more complicated for him :)

My dog absolutely loves this stimulation activity. I chop up one chewy treat and one milk bone and place them randomly under the sliders. I only give it to him once a day so he doesn’t lose interest but you could replace treats with dog food for meals.

This is good for puppies that aren't of the quickest caliber. I got this for our golden retriever puppy and she figured it out right away and it only took her about five minutes to complete. That being said, it is short term entertainment for her and we both enjoyed it very much. Even though we don't put treats in it anymore, she still likes to play with the sliders.

I got this for my shihtzu because I wanted something a little more challenging than the homemade muffin tin and tennis ball puzzle. This doesn't fail to deliver. My dog loves it! It keeps her interest. She barks with excitement when I am putting the treats in it!. It's sturdy, well made, and the perfect size for a small dog.

Some of these are too easy and some are too expensive. The ones that just require a simple slide are too way too easy for my dog. She loves this one and it takes a good 10-15 minutes for her to get everything out. I put it and her in a crate when I go out and it has cut down on the separation anxiety!

I bought this one month ago for my 4-month old Corgi and he loves it! He needs a lot of stimulation, so he began to knaw on everything when we were at work, so we got him this to keep him busy during the day. Needless to say, his biting/knowing went down. Even when he is done getting his kibbles from this toy, he opens the little doors just for fun. 10/10 would recommend, especially for Corgi pup owners.
