I contacted their customer support and got an prompt reply with instructions and a firmware update. When this did not correct the problem they immediately shipped a new unit that arrived two days later and performed flawlessly. Big Kudos!

   Just tried it out today. So far so good. The picture is clear. I set it to motion detection as recommended rather than loop. Easy to use and comes with a lot of accessories. Once I use it more, I will probably buy another one to place in another room in my house. Will also use at hotel rooms when we travel to make sure the staff are honest when cleaning our room.
