   I wanted to add my review because I really appreciated reading everyone else's thoughts on the product. I had the idea a few months ago to "go silver," and bleached out my hair. I then used the Silver Gray, which turned out dark gray and blue--really pretty but really artificial looking. This Got 2 Be Silver was the color I really wanted, but I hesitated because of the bad luck people mentioned here. So I finally tried it, wanting something to work really as just a toner to transform some of my hair that looked more blond than silver. This product was it! I really appreciated that, as the color developed in the bottle, it was a pale lavender (not dark blue) and my hair came out silver (not blue) with maybe a faint hint of lavender. I think the key, as others have said, is to have bleached out hair. I don't believe this product lightens your hair. Hope this is helpful for someone else.

   I bleached my hair, then dyed it pink, then added red roots. I wanted to see what would happen if I put silver over the top of the faded pink hair, and got gunmetal grey! I love it and think it's very cool. The red at my roots obviously shows through but the pink was completely covered. I cant speak to the longevity or how it will fade, but it applied easy, there was juuuust enough for my bra strap length hair, and it cleaned up easily without staining. I would 100% order again.

I just need to add a different conditioning with theirs to have the soft hair. I dont know why the box says not to use on grey hair. I do need to be careful with the shampoo after products. I used my husbands scalp cleans product acid and it did lightened the color. The picture is my hair about one week after.

I think this is a really freaking awesome product. As far as the kit Just as easy to use as any other good hair care dye product. I have big hands and I prefer to use my own gloves but the gloves aren't garbage. Instructions are easy.
