   These are designed too large and block the second socket where you cannot use a plug with a standard two socket outlet. Works fine if you have GFCIs and that is the only place you plan to install. Just leaving this review so others hopefully can see and not purchase if they want to still use their plugs.

   I got these because we were having a terrible problem with ants in our kitchen and spiders in the basement. We couldn't even open the door to the outside in the basement without a big spider running in! We weren't using the door because of that. So I ordered these and plugged it inside next to the door and the spiders were gone within a few days! And they've stayed away for the weeks since we got it. It's been a game-changer. The same with the ants; we used it in the kitchen and they went away and haven't come back! We don't use toxic chemicals in our home so we're super happy about this. No chemicals, no paying for an exterminator which didn't work before anyway, were expensive and forced us to sign up for a year contract. So many reasons why this is great but mostly because it works!
