l needed an iron. i don't iron my clothes...except, i wear a lot of t-shirts and scarves and i want them to be smooth and look like they have been ironed. this iron is the perfect shape and weight. i don't have an ironing board and i can use this on a towel on any surface. i find my bed to work well. it would travel easy. I'm really impressed and will but another one to keep for me and I'm going to give these irons to my daughters-in-law for christmas. they're great to add that finishing touch before going or on the town! it's small and powerfull.
