Sturdy gate but lightweight. At first I had a problem bc the top of the railing is wider than the bottom, as pictures show, adding the entire rod extension was too wide so by adding just the plastic extension to the top left without the rod allowed me to use the railing with the bumper. I wish the instructions gave that as a tip. I was about to return this product. I'm happy I had to think outside the box. I really like the Auto close feature. As I walk away or hear someone coming down the stairs I wait to hear the click sound. Gives me peace of mind. My room is near the gate and my baby doesn't wake up to it. She has a fan & nursery music playing while she naps so it's not a big deal.

Absolutely love this, our son loves to crawl and get into everything. This gate keeps him where he needs to be and is very sturdy to all the pulling he does on it. I love the fact that it is made of metal and not plastic. The latch works awesome and I love that you can choose one way opening or to swing both ways. The auto close is also awesome as you don't have to worry about closing it when your hands are full. Awesome product and would recommend to anyone with young children or pets they want to keep out of certain rooms.

This is an awesome gate! We are parents of two and have had several brands of gates now, and we really like this one. We were looking for something to go at the top of the basement stairs (people were constantly forgetting the close the basement door and I was having a panic attack). This is PERFECT for our purposes- we needed something that would close automatically and this does just that. The only cons are that you cannot close it quietly, the click is very loud, and babyproofers don't like pressure gates for top of the stairs.

We purchased this gate for our 100-lbs German Shepherd. It has worked well at keeping him contained. It comes with four pressure mounts. It fits our standard hallway well. It has a plastic piece that you can flip down to keep the gate open. Very easy to mount. Is sturdy and has stayed in place well, even with our German Shepherd behind it. Looks automatically as it swings shut. Very good quality for the price

These are awesome, I use them to keep my dog out of the rooms he is not allowed in but that I frequent (closet and spare bedroom). The swinging door is easy to operate and can go both ways so you can open it towards you and makes it easier to keep your pet from darting in because you can block him/her with the door.

Sturdy gate but lightweight. At first I had a problem bc the top of the railing is wider than the bottom, as pictures show, adding the entire rod extension was too wide so by adding just the plastic extension to the top left without the rod allowed me to use the railing with the bumper. I wish the instructions gave that as a tip. I was about to return this product. I・・m happy I had to think outside the box. I really like the Auto close feature. Absolutely love this, our son loves to crawl and get into everything. This gate keeps him where he needs to be and is very sturdy to all the pulling he does on it. This is an awesome gate! We are parents of two and have had several brands of gates now, and we really like this one. These are awesome, I use them to keep my dog out of the rooms he is not allowed in but that I frequent (closet and spare bedroom). The swinging door is easy to operate and can go both ways so you can open it towards you and makes it easier to keep your pet from darting in because you can block him/her with the door.
