   It's a nice flash light. It fits in your pocket, EDC or get home bag. The front of the light has groves on it. I think its ment for the light to shine thru while it stands on its end. The lens is a magnifying lens. The push button has two settings "on" and "off". Perfect! The light also has a clip so you can secure it to your pocket for easy access. My intention is to mount it on my shotgun. I like the light and my 5 year old loves it.

Red light preserves your night vision. The flashlight requires a battery and would probably benefit from a lanyard for my purposes, but a fine device nonetheless.

I like the one mode better than the version that alternates between flashing and steady. I mostly want a steady light so this version is perfect for me.

I use it all the time at night around the property; animals aren't startled by it, and it doesn't affect my eye's dark adaptation. it is bright enough to illuminate a large area, and focuses down to a tight spot that stretches a few hundred yards. The best thing is the on/off switch; it only goes on and off, no strobe or other annoying settings.

   I bought this for my pet tarantulas. Red lights don't bother them the way white/blue light does, so I use it to observe them at night. It's alright. A little bit disappointing, but not the worst. The light is exceptionally strong on a full battery, so it's pretty obvious when it starts to die. Mine seems to drain batteries quickly, but that might be a problem with the batteries I'm using and not the light itself.

   This is a great little red light. Its pretty bright, more than I was looking for. I have to stay the night at work alot, and was looking for a light to see without waking everybody up. It works for that, even being really bright. The little clip broke off after a few days, but that's not really important, considering it stays in my bag. Overall, very good little flashlight.
