Love this scope. I use it out on the shooting range in place of my spotter scope. My main working ranges are from 100 yards to 700 yards. Have used it to gaze at the moon a couple of times. Very easy to set up, the 1st time took about 15 minutes as I've never messed with 1 of these scopes. Now that I understand what I'm doing during the set-up, it only takes approx., 4 to 5 minutes. The Tripod is a bit shakey, but it works. It is light enough for me to pack around the woods. I have recommended this scope, to all that I have ran into at the shooting range.

I don't know why people are saying that the tripod on this telescope is horrible, everything about the telescope including the tripod is awesome. I was told that the tripod would not stand that high and I would need a table, that is not true at all. The tripod is very stable. The only thing that I do not like is that when you try to move the telescope it feels like it will break from the top of the tripod. The telescope is very cool and I love it.
