   I have a 12 lb 10 month old cat that I bought this backpack for. We live on a ranch so I was able to try it out with him in the pasture. He took to it immediately! No meowing just watched the cattle out of the bubble. I’ll do a few more trips with him in the pasture before going to the hiking trails. I have also left it open and on the floor and found him exploring it! The backpack is sturdy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

   I got this backpack for my Maine coone mix, Thor. He outgrew the other cat backpack I got, so I upgraded to this bigger one. Now, it IS big, so it's big heavy and sticks out from your back a lot, but its a super nice quality and it fits my Thor perfectly! He has lots of space to lay down, turn around, and get comfy. He loves it so much, he sleeps in it when I'm not even using it! Plus, I love the bubble! The only thing I had to adjust for myself (since I'm a bit short) was adding some extra padding on the bottom edge that touches my back. It's sturdy which is good, but it digs into the small of my back a bit. I'm sure taller people have no issues with that! Overall, I'd buy this backpack again and again!

   I love this backpack. My cat is very jumpy and easily spooked, hates being held, but she adores this backpack. She'll go and sit in it on her own and seems to enjoy being carried in it. I definitely recommend slowly training with lots of treats to create a positive association. I have yet to take her on a real walk outside but she responded well to short trips out the door. The ability to open from the top is what really makes this backpack successful.
