Optical Glass X Cubes Dichroic Cube

I bought this on impulse since I like to collect physics "toys". This cube is glass and it is very well made. The colors produced in direct sunlight are almost psychedelic; the same effect can be obtained with a powerful narrow beam LED flashlight. It takes some familiarizing with optimal angles of incidence, but that's not hard. I love it and would buy another.

I loved this product it was a beautiful centerpiece i was able to put a light underneath aimed at the corner of the cube and it was beautiful but sadly it was knocked off the stand and it shattered so sadly it is no more but it was beautiful while it lasted

Very nice trinket, exactly as advertised. I think some buyers might not understand how small it is, so look at the dimensions. Also, this arrived on the first day of shipping window, happy about that.

I was a little hesitant ordering this cube after reading reviews on this cube or other similar cubes, but I am glad that I did. The quality is great and it came with a little sack to keep it clean and protected when it's in a drawer or whatever. I highly recommend this cube/seller to anyone else looking to order one but may be a little turned off by some of the reviews. The delivery date felt abnormally far off, but it showed up in about half of that time. I am really happy with this cube and actually plan on purchasing a larger one from the same seller (if there is a larger option) now that I know the quality is as nice as I had hoped for.

This is just one of those things that you want on the corner of your desk or on your bookshelf. I've had my first purchase order for a couple years now and still pick it up and play with it. Had bought more for gifts for like minded people and so far all positive feedback.

Mixing colors when painting a canvas is different than mixing color for electronic media. Using paint to mix color is a process of addition; the colors for media comes from light itself. Light has all colors in it and to see a specific color, you have to subtract other colors. This little cube can demonstrate that phenomenon.
And it's irresistible; it begs to be picked up and examined.

There weren’t many reviews on this and I was hesitant to buy. I’m glad I did. Yes, it’s on the smaller side, but the quality is really nice compared to the larger ones with plastic colored stickers on them. Every angle has a new color. I put it on the dashboard in my car and the sun reflects off it beautifully. I’m thinking about ordering another one.

Great cubes. I bought two, and if you can see my pictures, the CMY color cubes are shown in each picture on the right, next to my cubes by Vasa Mihich for comparison.
The cubes are better than I expected. I was worried they would have a flimsy film applied, but instead they are very permanent feeling.
While my Vasa Mihich cubes have color laminated on three sides, these cubes have color applied to all six sides, so there is a different effect.
I would absolutely recommend this cube. Everybody should have one. Or two. Or twenty.

I study color vision. This is a fun desk toy to hand to almost anyone, whether they know how color works or not! The sides do scratch pretty easily but I don't mind, makes me less worried about handing it off.

Quick delivery, excellent packaging, that was both pretty and functional. I don’t know how exactly the color is applied, but it’s definitely securely on there, so the cube feels quite durable. Great fidget and hopefully useful for art projects.
Also, it’s fun to hold it up to the light and watch the shadows change as you turn it.
