Recommended for those who are bald on top of head and desire to have a very short and manageable side cut. Why take the time go to barbershop and pay when styling is not an issue? Pays for itself in two uses. Have used it for years and works well, quick to set up and put away compared to the older one. No setup required, just turn on and move back and forth on sides of head until cut is even. Did not read instructions, just did it. In future plan to use about every month to maintain. Cut my hair standing over hardwood floor where clumps of hair fell and were easy to clean up. Highly recommend for old bald guys!

I am 85 and until a couple of years ago, my wife would use my set of clippers w/o any attachments and clip me down to the scalp. Up until covid I would go to the local College Beauty/ Barber school. Now with my cutting machine, I am able to do it myself closer than my wife could and equal to a Barber unless he/she shaved it!
The first charge, I accidentally turned it on before I plugged it in to charge, and it charged to operate well. Once I turned it off and let it charge fully, I buzzed my head successfully! I Love it!!!!!

Received this yesterday, charged it up for 1.5 hours (as stated in instructions) and tried it out this morning. Worked great, very easy to use and produced a nice, even cut (my hair was already cut to a number 4). It is OK. I am looking forward to keeping my hair nicely trimmed without having to go to the barber every week. This is for people who want their hair short. Battery life is also a plus, I highly recommend it.

I am impressed with this marvelous compact hair cutting device!, I have bought many other cordless versions in the past that ran on batteries, and the quality of the hair cut was not good. This design is perfect for one person who has medium to short hair to give a hair cut in under five minutes!! I love the fact the it is rechargeable also. I highly recommend this hair cutter. five perfect stars from me!

It works for me and you don't need to have other items to do a good trim job. If you want your hair real short you will like it. I like my hair cut short so it suits me to a T. You do have to move it in all directions to get an even cut and it very well.

When the clippers arrived, I charged them overnight and the next day, with some difficulty, installed the 2 gears comb guide. My hair was probably a little over an inch long on top. After moving the clippers around my head for a couple of minutes, I had a decent haircut. I used the supplied scissors to trim the strands across my forehead and to cut hair around my ears. (I also did a little shaving with my razor near my ears.) I switched to a shorter comb guide setting for the back and sides of my head.
