Garden Path Maker Mold

With the Garden Path Maker Mold you can create a gorgeous, cement (or red mud) garden path to enhance the beauty of your outdoor space. This paving mold consists of irregular-shaped holes, which hold the cement slurry and allow you to smooth out the top by hand.

Once your cement has dried, simply remove the loading mold and add stone sand or plant grass in the gaps. The end results are stunning and add an earthy and natural-looking stone element to your yard or garden.

  • Suitable for gardens, meadows, balconies, villas, patios and more
  • Easy to operate, ladies and children can also DIY their own garden creations
  • Mold can be used repeatedly or use multiple molds at the same time until footpath is complete.
  • It’s possible to make paths of different colors, just blend preferred coloring pigment into the cement before pouring. No expensive equipment or laying costs! Practical and convenient and you save money while adding to the charm and beauty of your yard or garden.

Step by Step Instructions for using your Garden Path Maker Mold:

    1. Rake the area you want your stones in and place your mold down

    2. Prepare concrete in separate container

    3. Pour wet concrete into Maker Mold

    4. Use board or other straight edge to smooth and even out the surface of your concrete

    5. While wet you can add any decorative items to your concrete; shells, foot or hand prints, rocks, colored glass, etc.

    6. Trowel to smooth around added items, if necessary

    7. Allow to set overnight

    8. Remove Maker Mold

    9. Add fill dust, stones, sand, gravel, etc. to the spaces in between and sweep clean.

I purchased this mold so I could create a little walkway along the side of the batting cage in our backyard where it tends to get muddy, and it turns out it became more of an art project instead of a "have to" project!! The mold worked out fabulously and I couldn't be happier!! I loved mixing up the different colors of quickcrete and creating my own little piece of art! I only wish I would have purchased about 4 of them at once!!! I definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to do something different with a walkway, especially since this was so easy to use, I had no issues with wet concrete or colors sticking to the mold, and the mold itself is very strong!! I love it!!!

These are fun to use, we are making pavers for our patio extension. An 80 pound bag of Quikcrete makes 4 pavers. We read other reviews that said to use a mold release or non stick cooking spray and remove the molds after about 15-20 minutes so we took that advice and it has worked perfectly.

During COVID-19 my partner and I decided we needed to do something with our back yard. Via a pinterest exploration for diy backyard ideas we came across these molds. We ordered 2, rented a uhaul, purchased 25 -80 pound bags of sent, 2 heavy 6x9 tarp, and cement tub. I bag of cement made two and a half pavers. We mixed cement using the 2 person tarp method...highly recommended for athletic types because it saves from renting a cement mixer. To cover a 10x9 area using only two molds it took us three days working in three hour shifts. Once completed we panted the cement and added self setting sand to fill in the cracks. In total cost to install was just over $200.

Great size and easy to use. Making a pathway from our driveway to the house and it couldn't be easier. Ordered 2 more (total of 3) to make the work go faster. Btw an 80lb bag fills the mold 3 times perfectly. We let the concrete set for about 8 minutes before we lifted it when it looked dryish on top and moved to the next. We were able to use the whole bag before it set doing it this way using quickcrete. I was able to do the whole job with a baby attached to my back.

The hardest part about making a patio was prepping the area. Once the ground was level and ready to go, these molds work great. We bought two so we could be working at two ends. Not ideal to put one mold next to another mold because it will create a gap. Also, lay down extra in sand or dirt, then once they are dry you can use the individual pieces to fill gaps or replace ones that look at little off. We did this patio in 3 days with 2-3 people. Then filled everything in with polymeric sand.

This is my first time ever doing this and at 53 years old, I build this patio all by myself. I'm so proud of it. The mold was easy to use and the concrete just slid right off so I could move on to the next one.

Perfect! We’re still working on the project, however we are completely happy with what we have so far, I must admit, I had to assist my husband and it is a lot of work with the cement. But the overlook is worth it! Money well spent!
