Fish Stool Suction Collector

Benefit:

High Quality: This fish stool suction collector is made of high-quality Acrylic material, which is durable and has a longer service life than others.

Automatically Maintain Clean Aquarium Tank: The Fish Stool Suction Collector is a 3-in-1 pump that works as a filtration, oxygenation, and stool collector device.

The device uses a pneumatic principle, filtering water in the tank to contain fish waste and impurities in the middle compartment and releasing clean water back out to the tank. No More Frequent Maintenance: With a cleaner aquarium, it would reduce the need for frequent water changes and gravel cleaning.

Fish Stool Suction Collector

With the fish waste contained, it reduces water pollution and bad-smelling odor too. Effortlessly Maintain A Clean Aquarium Environment for Thriving Aqua Life with Fish Stool Suction Collector! Easy Installation: Simply plug the device into an air pump and place it in the aquarium tank.

Fish Stool Suction Collector

Once the middle compartment is filled with fish waste, simply remove and clean it before placing it back in the aquarium tank. Biological Filter Ball: The device has a biological filter ball at the bottom of the cylinder which boosts the growth of nitrifying bacteria, which is required for the nitrogen cycle.

Works good need a strong air pump, puts a lot of bubbles out, splashes surface.
After using 8 months air flow coming out is severly deminished, I have valve wide open barely enough bubbles(air) coming out to turn blades.

Honestly I didn't really trust this item in general due to all the reviews and the low ratings. I loved the concept of it and you know what? With the low price point, I decide to give it a try.So yes if you have a good air pump. It really does help suction up a bit of poop around a radius of the product. It's pretty easy to clean. Honestly a lot of it is just low pressurized water so if you have a water spray with your sink. The only bad part is it does suck up the poop and it does give out a lot of bubbles however it doesn't really help clean up the water. Might still need to get a sponge type filter for that.

Good price work great just little modifications. Put activated carbon instead of the bio balls. Definitely going to buy it more.

This product is life changing! I read the reviews but wanted to try it anyway and I’m so glad I did. I already ordered a second one and will be getting more for my other tanks. This works great if you have enough air pressure to pull it. I have 2 of these in a 125 gallon with 2 Oscars and other fish. The tank has white sand so I was cleaning out oscar poop daily before this. Now when I get up my sand is still white and all the Oscar poop inside these! I empty them about every 10 days and they are way to reassemble.

First things first: for this thing to work well, you need a strong air pump! When I first got it I hooked it up to a dedicated air pump, but it wasn’t strong enough to move the impeller fast enough to create any suction. Swapped in a Tetra 60 and this thing is basically a constant poop siphon. Does a great job helping clean up after my giant clan of Goldfish, who eat 3 times a day. Cant recommend it enough for Goldfish keepers!

When you get this filter, be sure to take out the media and give it a good rinse. There was a lot of small pieces of plastic in there. Other than that, I have no complaints.
It takes a few days for the media to start moving around like it should. If you find it's still not moving much after a few days, try unplugging your air pump for a few minutes, then plug it back in. That usually helps get it moving.
