Electronic Stethoscope

When it comes to plumbing leak detections, finding a leak starts with Electronic Stethoscope and looking for access to make contact with pipes, and above all – listening! Electronic Stethoscope professional plumbers leak detection equipment does just that by using new technology to get accurate detections with precise findings, wherever leaks are hiding.

The Electronic Stethoscope finds leaks under concrete and solid surfaces, decking, floors and more. The Electronic Stethoscope can hear leaks in metal and plastic pipes under soil, landscaping, aggregate and solid surfaces as well. When listening in plastic pipes, the contractor will use the Pressure Rig to inject bursts of air and water into the pipe, creating the sound of the leak that can be detected underground, through walls, floors or cabinetry.

5 skilled journeyman mechanics, including myself, couldn't find the knocking suspension sound on my car. With this thing I found it in about a half hour. I chased that noise for 8 years! The way the car is designed the problem parts always passed inspection. I think if I had completely disassembled the suspension I still would have missed the problem.

These worked as expected. I heard a whine while driving that got louder as I increased in speed. I thought it was coming from the back and my son thought it was coming from the front but I was pretty sure it was a bearing. When I hooked this up near all four wheels I found that both left side wheels were fairly quiet while both right side wheels were pretty loud. The loudest being the right rear. Since the rear right should be just as quiet as the rear left I am in the process of replacing both rear bearings. Once that is completed I'll see if I need to replace the front right. It could be that I just had the front one connected to something I shouldn't have.

Simple device that works. Sensitive enough for trying to trace a water leak in the wall. Took one star away because moving it while trying to listen often times cuts off the sound. By placing it back onto the wall, the units works as it should

This is a great product. I was having a grinding noise in my driveline and was not able to pinpoint it while the vehicle was on a lift and I was directly under it. A five minute drive with the ChassisEAR with three leads hooked up and I pinpointed my trouble spot. Every pro and home mechanic should own this tool to save time and money on diagnosing problems.

This thing is great! I used it to find a rattle that the dealer couldn't even find. (don't think they tried very hard) It was driving me crazy and would come and go as the weather changed. I clipped the microphones to several places under the hood and found the noise quickly. I secured the cable properly and the noise is gone. Worth every penny to get rid of that annoying rattle. Thanks!

Searched for a under car noise that only occurred while the car was moving with no success. Tried the pry bar to budge parts, the hammer to bang on tires from every angle, car lifted from frame, lifted from A-arm, no luck. Right out of the box connected this Steelman wired ChassisEAR to three areas - upper strut mount, lower strut mount, tie rod ends on both sides. On the very first drive could clearly hear noise from both outer tie rod ends? Subsequent inspection of tie rod ends checked good. Inspection of the steering rack revealed a cracked mounting bracket. We were thinking it was a cv axle all along. This tool set us straight!

These saved me money on continuing to replace parts in an effort ot find a rattle in the front end of my car. Turns out, the sway bar mount bushing were wore out (an obvious thing on a 15yo car, looking back). Worth the purchase if you want to find rattles in a vehicle.
