Took a second to figure out how to use, but once I did, it worked GREAT! Highly recommended over much more expensive tools. A little more practice and it will look much cleaner now that I know how to line it up to cut properly.

Mounted it to a table with a stripped down high speed drill with an external power switch. Cut body steel (14 gauge) with ease in various curves. Will be great for thin metal projects that I do not want to use the plasma cutter for.

This does a very good job of cutting thin metal. I found it easier to use by putting the head in a vice and manipulating the material than trying to move the drill and cutter together to cut straight lines. The cut is narrow, and only small slices are taken off with each cut which leaves a nice enough finish for some jobs and when you need a clean cut, only minor filing is required. This is my second tool, the first went walking!

This is my first time using a tool like this, so I don’t have a benchmark comparison. That being said, I needed to cut a 6 inch diameter hole in an 18 gauge metal cabinet, this nibbler performed flawlessly...very quick learning curve, smoooth edges, no sharp corners on cut edges. I’m impressed, a welcome addition to my tool box.

Looks good but doesn’t replace my actual corded nibbler. Didn’t really cut good at all on just about everything I tried it on.(edited). After a quick and easy email conversation and some troubleshooting. I have found that it was not their issue. Everything can have a mistake and this one ended up being a incomplete mill job. With that said. They will fix any issue you have. Now I have a working nibbler and a happy experience.

Prepare for this in advance. Every time the cutter goes up n down leaves one of these. We're talking thousands. Use old shoes and clean up right away!

Bought this to cut a circle in an 18 ga stainless food prep table for a big green egg. It worked great, attached to my 18v cordless drill. It cut through the tabletop like a knife through butter. Easy to maneuver, easy to start and stop. Cuts a clean edge. I used a little 3 in 1 oil to keep it lubed and cool. Comes with an extra head, extra ‘blade’, handle, and storage case.

I was skeptical about how well this item was going to work based on what similar models were being sold for on other sites. This is simply a case where "you get what you pay for" is dead wrong. I was absolutely speechless by how easily this tool literally ate it's way through the steel plate I had been grinding away at two days before with the ever trusty 4 1/2 inch grinder with a cut wheel in order to create the design drawn onto the surface. There is a slight learning curve as to which way the tool needs to face in order to fulfill the needs but after about two or three minutes I was happily and quickly on my way. If I had any concerns it is that this thing produces a LOT of curled steel bits that fall away and the cut path is approx 1/8 or 3/16 of an inch wide. Well worth the money spent and at this price you could almost get three for what others are selling one for. AND..you have an extra bit for when the first one ever goes dull. (remember to always use lubricating oil)

I purchased this for cutting some steel siding {barn steel} . Found out pretty quick that flat surfaces are easy to work with. Ribs cut at 90 degree are going to manageable but your going to have to work for it. Cutting through ribs on a angle forget about it. The head doesn't lend it self to that angles over ribs cut. With a little practice you can get some good lines and no burs like the ones you get from tin snips. I also used a 3/8" cordless impact and it worked even better than the drill did.
