I like that I did not need to keep switching pedals on a recent family vacation. Just attach the platforms via the SPD cleat and ride with my regular walking shoes. When I hit the local XC trails I just pop off the platform adapter pedals and I can clip in for more intense rides.

For commuting, it is easier to just leave my work shoes at the office and mountain bike with the real shoes. My other use case is for riding to a running location or a park when I want to have running shoes and not worry about carrying around my bike shoes.

I have been having a toe problem that makes wearing the correct footwear painful, so these were a great find. Obviously it's a different experience and I would not use for an actual spin class, but they work great when you just want to get on the bike and ride wearing regular athletic shoes.

I have clipless pedals on my recumbent "tadpole" and I often use it to go to local stores. With these pedals I can switch to street shoes which makes shopping a whole lot easier. I fashioned a strap to keep my feet on the pedals and with the cleats positioned around the pedal and the strap they've never dropped my feet off.

They are easy to put on and take off, but I haven't had any accidental removals. These have a larger platform and worked well riding around on fire trails. I wore them with Keens and trail running shoes. Both worked fine, but they did particularly well with the keens.

These are really great for riding in my neighborhood, where there are Speed Bumps and Intersections where I would want to clip out when stopping is probable, The other thing about these, if you are clipped in, and go into a turn, make sure your inside foot is raised or the Corki's will scrape the road. If I was going to use these 100% of the time, I might get two sets. You do need an extra set of cleats. I had an extra pair, so it was no big deal.
