It was a bit fiddly to adjust to the right height where it actually held his head. I think it would be easier to fit to a larger child than a 3 year old.
It's easy to reach back and put it on if his head hasnt already flopped down but sometimes the ends pop off. I'd rather have them loose and popping off than become a barrier in a crash though.
