It is very cute and can hold a good amount of pencils. But the velcro gives it away and it's not soft like cloth, it's more like a leather material.

For the price I wasn’t expecting much better than this, but the thing has an internal key ring which can scratch your pens. I don’t know what purpose it serves, so I removed it. The Velcro squares are not adjustable, so the fit is not at all tight when closed. Otherwise, this looks great and works well.
