    The chess pieces are beautiful gold and silver and show great detail in design. The magnets keep the pieces from unwanted shifting in case the board gets bumped or something. This also makes it an ideal game to play on road trips! Then, when not playing, the chess board folds in half making a wonderful storage area for the chess pieces so they won't get lost between games! I love this purchase and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who likes (or loves) to play this game!
