Product shipped and arrived on time. Great little sail to take you on a day with a steady breeze. This sail will not turn your kayak into a sailboat. It works great on my son's 6 kids kayak so I bought one for my daughter's kayak. These are fun little sails but you won't win any races with them. Spit it up easily, folding it up is a bit tricky but you'll figure it out with patience. Not a bad thing for money.

Great sail. Learning to use the sail with the wind to maneuver diagonally when the wind is not fully cooperating. Pops up easy, folds down slick and easy. Super fun when the wind is blowing pretty good the direction you want, moves you super fast. You do need to practice because you can control your direction if you know how to maneuver your sail. This is not going to take you all over the lake and you should already understand that without wind this does not work. I always have it attached because if a breeze does come up I want to be ready. I fish from my kayak and my goal is to use the wind and sail to troll. We get a lot of attention on the lake with these.

My husband has taken up fishing as his hobby of choice, so I got him/us this sail. He keeps wanting me and the kids to come along when he goes fishing so I figured this can help us navigate to a good spot when we're on a rowboat, and it's something for the kids to do. It folds up flat and has a shoulder carry strap, making it easy to travel with. It's actually pretty fun on the water using this with my two little kids (3 and 6), and teaching my kids some scientific concepts! Works really well if you're out on a windy day, and we live in a pretty windy area- great for flying kites and for sailing. Lastly, I love the blue color, it is bright and happy and doesn't take away from the beauty of nature.

The sail us just as advertised cane complete with straps and carabiner clips just as pictured. No instructions but easy to figure out how to attach to the bungees on my sea kayak would work just as well on a SUP with bungees. Material is a bit thin but with care will last a long time. Tried once it worked well but not enough wind. Will try again in stronger wind. The third fold is somewhat difficult but necessary if you want it to fit inside the hatch of the sea kayak.

I haven’t used it yet but it looks like it will be a lot of fun. I bought another one for my sister and we’ll write another review after we use them. They go back into their little case pretty easily and there are videos online on how to fold them away when they are attached to your board on the water that seem very helpful.

We love it, it works well , when your tired of paddleing just snap it to the front of the canoe and just guid yourself with the back straps. And its bright in color so other boaters can see you plus it provides some shade.

This was so fun to use!! We did watch a YouTube video about how to open and refold this sail before we used it on our kayak and I think that helped. We easily attached it to the front of our kayak and used it to come back in to shore with no paddling! It doesn't make you go really fast, but we weren't in a rush and we enjoyed it.

I've never had a sail on my sea kayak before, so didn't want to spend £130 on the name brand one just to find out it's not my thing or worth the trouble. Very glad I purchased this though. Very cheaply priced for what you get. It's been on my boat for two trips now and performed well. The stitching and materials do seem pretty cheap, but it's held up surprisingly well so far. I'm also surprised, but of course glad, it came with as many straps and hardware as it did. It even came with a carrying bag! However, fitting it in the bag is a hassle, so I just keep it under a bungee strap on the deck of my boat when not in use. I'm sure I'll regret this eventually, as it's exposed to UV rays and sticks and whatnot, but having it accessible at a moments notice is nice. I was relieved to find it's VERY easy to deploy while paddling as the winds shift. No need to pull over to dry land to set it up. When the wind dies just give it a twist and tuck it back under the bungee again! The clear plastic is crinkly and not real clear for seeing though but definitely better than not having it at all. Despite the cheap materials, I would recommend this product. Good design, and VERY reasonable price. Heck, if it can save you from a few miles of paddling on one trip, it's worth it! Plus it makes you look smarter than all those other kayakers who are paddling!!

I have many tandem kayaks and always wanted to try one of these sails. As long as you have the proper clamp to attach to the front of your kayak it should work. Does it fly over water? No... but it's nice to play with and give your arms a rest. It serves its purpose. It packs small and opens easily. It was something my wife could hang on to while I paddled so she could rest. It works for what it's intended and I'm happy with it.
